When you use our products and/or services, we may collect or use your relevant information (for avoidance of doubt, if you are a corporate user, "you" may also include your legal representative, ultimate beneficial owner, or authorized parties). Through this Privacy Policy ("Policy"), we aim to inform you about how we collect, use, store, share, and transfer such information when you use our products and/or services. This Policy has the same legal effect as the User Agreement. By clicking and confirming the corresponding button on the page, you agree to and accept all terms and conditions under this Policy and the User Agreement.

We encourage you to carefully read and confirm your full understanding of the contents herein before using our products and/or services, enabling you to make appropriate choices as guided by this Privacy Policy. Your use or continued use of our products and/or services after updates to this Policy signifies your acceptance of its contents and your agreement to our collection, use, storage, and sharing of your relevant information in accordance with this Policy.


1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal information

Personal information refers to any information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person alone or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person. Sensitive personal information includes data that, if leaked illegally provided, or misused, may endanger personal or property safety, easily lead to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment, etc.

During your use of J-Pay's products and/or services, we need to collect and use your personal information to provide services to you, improve our service quality, safeguard your J-Pay account and fund security, and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.

1.1 Collection from Website Visitors

Like most website operators, J-Pay automatically collects non-personal information typically provided by web browsers and servers, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. J-Pay collects non-personal information to better understand how visitors use its website. We collect via cookies:

  • Your domain name, browser type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, links clicked;
  • Your IP address, duration of visit, activities on our website, and referring URL or webpage.

1.2 Information Provided by Users

Information you provide may include details about beneficial owners or other individuals related to J-Pay services. This includes:

  • During J-Pay account registration: mobile number (if applicable), email; you may set login and payment passwords. To verify your identity per applicable laws and internal compliance requirements:
    • Individual users: nationality, gender, permanent address, date of birth, valid lD number,issue/expiry dates, color copy of lD (front/back), photo holding ID, biometric data (if applicable), authorized agent information (if applicable).
    • Corporate users: company name, website (if applicable), registration date, business type. scope, registered/operational address, valid corporate certificates; legal representative, shareholder, and ultimate beneficial owner details (name, nationality, address, date of birth, ID number, contact details, color lD copy, photo holding lD, biometric data, authorized agent information). This includes sensitive personal information. You acknowledge that we may verify this information directly or via third-party agencies (e.g., government databases, Dow Jones).
  • To use J-Pay services: account information, trade materials (counterparty name, country/region, transaction time, attachments), transaction records, qualifications, platform access proofs, invoices, settlement details. Without this, services may be unavailable.
  • For withdrawal services: bank account name, number, bank name, currency, account type, region, SWIFT/BIC, local codes. Without this, withdrawals are unavailable.
  • For service security: device information, lP address, MAC address, browser version, geographical location. Non-consent may affect service usage.
  • Information from promotions, surveys, problem reports, or support requests.
  • Customer service interactions: usage records, communications (including call monitoring/recording), survey responses, interactions. Non-provision does not affect service usage.

1.3 Collection from Business Partners

We may collect your personal information from partners (e.g., financial institutions, service providers), ensuring legality and authorized scope of use.

1.4 Cookies

We use cookies (e.g., Cookie, Flash Cookie) to enhance site functionality, remember preferences, and avoid repeated logins. Browser settings may allow cookie refusal, but this could impact website access.


2. How We Share, Entrust, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

J-Pay discloses your personal information only in the following cases:

  • As required by applicable laws or regulatory authorities;
  • To employees, partners, and affiliates who (a) need to know to provide services; (b) are bound by confidentiality agreements.

2.1 Entrustment

We may entrust affiliates or partners to process your personal information under strict agreements and supervision.

2.2 Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share your information with service providers or financial institutions for business purposes, only with your consent for legitimate, specific purposes. Third parties are contractually obligated to protect and use information solely for disclosed purposes.

2.3 Public Disclosure

We may publicly disclose your information:

  • With your explicit consent;
  • As required by laws, regulations, or judicial processes.

2.4 Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information except:

  • With your explicit written consent;
  • As required by laws, legal processes, or agreements;
  • In mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, where the successor remains bound by this Policy.

2.5 Exceptions

We may share, transfer, or disclose information without consent if required for:

  • National/defense security;
  • Public safety, health, or significant public interests;
  • Crime investigation, prosecution, or execution;
  • Protecting life/property where consent is impractical;

3. Cross-Border Transfer and Storage of Personal Information

As a global service, information may be stored/processed in countries/regions where we operate or with service providers. Transfers outside your jurisdiction (e.g. to affiliates/partners) will comply with applicable laws, ensuring protection standards meet this Policy. Data retention aligns with minimal necessity (e.g. AML laws require post-relationship storage for at least five years).


4.How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information

  • We implement industry-standard measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption, access controls, and staff training.
  • We hold PCl-DSS Level 1 certification.
  • We retain personal information only as long as necessary or legally permitted.
  • You are responsible for protecting shared information during transactions.
  • In case of a security incident, we will notify you and report to authorities as required.


5.Managing Your Personal Information

5.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion

  • Account basics: Update mobile, email, passwords via [Personal Center - Security Settings].
  • Bank accounts: View/delete via [Personal Center - Payment Accounts].
  • KYC information: View via [Personal Center - Verification Center]; corrections/deletions require contact via global service hotline.
  • Other requests: Contact customer service.

5.2 Changing/Withdrawing Consent

Contact us to modify consent, noting that prior services or legal requirements may preclude certain changes.

5.3 Responding to Requests

We respond within 15 business days, verifying identity first. Fees may apply for repetitive/unreasonable requests. We may decline requests impacting others' rights or violating laws.

5.4 Account Deactivation

Contact customer service to deactivate your J-Pay account. Post-deactivation, data will be cleared, but we retain information as required by law or with your separate consent.


6. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy, notifying changes via our website or email for significant revisions (e.g., service model changes, ownership changes, data sharing changes).
